American conservative here.

I see a lot of rumors going around that Trump is a "communist puppet", working for Putin. So I'd like to say something first, and then get some opinions from anons who are openly admitted communists. Here it goes:

IF I'm a communist for supporting my new President, for wanting to protecting our borders, for supporting the 2nd Amendment (as well as all other constitutional rights), for supporting our troops, for wanting to get along with other nations who respect our national sovereignty, for not accepting the flaws of globalization or world government, who wants our country to have a strong industrialized economy, for wanting a strong military for defense purposes, for expecting our government to prevent domestic terrorism, who respects our American culture and way of life… IF all this makes me a communist… well then, I'm a proud American communist!

My question for the comrades at /leftypol/: am I really a communist? …Or is the Mainstream Media's narrative full of bullshit?

I'd love to know.

The tour was the highest profile of several visits by members of Congress during the February recess. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) rode along with Border Patrol agents last week. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) led five GOP lawmakers on a separate tour of the Rio Grande Valley this week. Cornyn has taken a more nuanced approach than the president and some lawmakers to building a wall, saying that enforcement and technology must accompany any physical barrier.

And Democrats in the Congressional Hispanic and Border caucuses met with community groups to denounce the wall as a detriment to immigrant communities.

Juanita Valdez-Cox, executive director of LUPE, an advocacy group founded by activist César Chávez, told the Monitor she expects negative rhetoric from Congress to escalate once Ryan returns to Washington.

“This visit is for him to be able to say that he’s been here and seen the Rio Grande Valley, when in fact he is neglecting to hear the stories and concerns from the people who live here,” Valdez-Cox said. “My fear is that it’s a plan to be able to justify Trump’s wall.”

McAllen is a fast-growing city of 141,000 in the Rio Grande Valley, which last year ranked as the busiest sector for illegal border crossings, largely because of a surge in unaccompanied children and families from Central America.

The river snakes through the region, forming the natural border between the United States and Mexico. It serves as a reminder of the complicated topography of building a wall, since it contains rivers, mountains and other rugged terrain.

Congress is beginning to assess the cost of building the president’s signature campaign promise. Trump has vowed to make Mexico cover the cost, but the Mexican government has balked at the plan. At the moment, the project has no reliable price tag. Trump has estimated the cost at $8 billion. Recent congressional legislation pegged the number at $10 billion, and construction experts say it could be more than double that.

Congressional Republicans seem amenable to underwriting the wall themselves — at least at first — although some budget hawks have said they want cuts to other federal spending to compensate. About 600 miles of the 2,000-mile southernPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

YouTube videos surfaced Wednesday that purport to show a Tuesday altercation in Anaheim with several juveniles and an off-duty Los Angeles police officer who discharged a firearm during the scuffle.

The Anaheim Police Department in a Facebook post said that it is aware of numerous videos concerning the officer-involved shooting that occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Euclid Street and West Palais Road.

Sgt. Daron Wyatt, a spokesman for Anaheim police, declined to confirm the authenticity of the videos. However, the sergeant did say “they appear to depict portions of the incident.”

The confrontation began over ongoing issues with juveniles walking across the officer’s property, Wyatt said.

In the Tuesday confrontation, a 13-year-old boy is accused of threatening to shoot the off-duty officer, at which time the officer attempted to detain the boy until Anaheim police arrived, Wyatt said.

That led to a physical confrontation between the officer and several other juveniles, Wyatt said. At that time, the officer, who hasn’t been identified, discharged his gun once.

The 13-year-old was booked at Orange County Juvenile Hall for criminal threats and battery. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for assault and battery and released to his parents.

The altercation may have started because of a misunderstanding between the 13-year-old boy and the officer, said Gregory Perez, 16, who witnessed the incident.

“The little kid said, ‘I’m going to sue you,’ and then the guy thought he said, ‘I’m going to shoot you.’ That’s when he started grabbing the little kid.”

An undocumented Mexican immigrant committed suicide half an hour after he was deported from the United States, BBC reports.

Guadalupe Olivas Valencia, 45, jumped from a bridge at the border of San Diego, Calif. and Tijuana, Mexico after he was deported for the third time.

A U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency-issued bag that held his possessions was found near his body.

The man was transferred to a hospital, where he was quickly pronounced dead. He died of a heart attack and concussion.

According to witnesses, Valencia was "shouting that he did not want to return to Mexico” before jumping to his death. He was a native of Sinaloa, one of the country’s most violent states and home of a major drug cartel.

Valencia’s death follows recent orders by the Trump administration to ramp up deportations of undocumented immigrants in the country, many of them from Mexico.

New Hampshire this week passed a law allowing residents to carry a concealed handgun without a permit, joining a growing number of states that are allowing residents to carry weapons out of sight without a license.

At least 11 states have passed laws allowing the concealed carry of guns without a permit, and 16 states have introduced legislation this year to do the same, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures and the National Rifle Association. Gun rights advocates see the laws as the next frontier in Second Amendment rights.

“That’s kind of the next step in expanding law-abiding gun owners’ constitutional right to self-protection,” said Jennifer Baker, a spokeswoman for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action. “It’s where a lot of states are moving.”

The legislation has been dubbed “permitless carry” or “constitutional carry,” as proponents believe that people have a constitutional right to carry a gun with as few restrictions as possible. Legislation is pending in states including Kentucky — where gun rights advocates expect it to pass — Texas, Colorado and Indiana.

Idaho, Mississippi and West Virginia passed laws last year that do away with concealed-carry permits, allowing people to carry weapons without them.

In New Hampshire, Gov. Chris Sununu (R) signed a law Wednesday that allows anyone who has purchased a licensed pistol or revolver to carry it, loaded or unloaded, on him or herself or in a vehicle. Sununu’s predecessor, Sen. Maggie Hassan (D), twice vetoed the legislation.

“We have historically allowed people to openly carry a pistol. I don’t see why you have to get a second permit if you’re a law-abiding citizen and legally entitled to own a gun,” Jeb Bradley (R), the majority leader of the state Senate, said in an interview. Bradley and Sununu also said the law puts New Hampshire on equal footing with neighboring Vermont and Maine, which also do not require permits for the concealed carry of handguns.

The legislation went into effect immediately.

Swedish Citizen Reveals SICK Truth Of What’s Happening Right Outside His Window That Should Wake America The Hell Up

Donald Trump talked about “what’s happening in Sweden” and everyone goes crazy! What do you mean what’s happening in Sweden?

You don’t notice the crazy amounts of mass Muslim migrant crime? Hmmm. How about some riots? Hmmm. Notice it yet?

Here’s a Swedish resident who’s telling the story about what’s happening in his town. The only person who can speak about this better than a Swedish resident would be if the Muslims posted their own videos incriminating themselves of their crimes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1_viPSD-bY

There you have it folks. The guy tells you EXACTLY what you need to know about the situation in Sweden.

If you can’t believe what a resident says, then who can you believe? To anyone who doubted Donald Trump – how do you feel now that you know what’s really happening in Sweden?

The only time I ever heard about Sweden was when people talked about their bikini team. From what I knew, this was a fun loving place to live where they had barely any problems. Then I find out that Sweden has become a cess pool thanks to the Muslim migrant refugees and their barbaric crime waves.

Now if you wear a bikini in Sweden, then you’ll probably be raped by a Muslim migrant refugee. The sex crimes are out of control!

Look folks – no one wants to deal with invasions of mass criminals. But the problem isn’t US – it’s them. If the Muslim migrant refugees went to new locations and were NICE people who helped make the town a better place to live, then all of America would want them.

But that’s not how it is. These crummy cretins continuously commit crimes.

TOKYO - Cigarette smoke hangs thick in the air of a Tokyo nightspot as Aki Nitta sips champagne with a trio of sweet-talking Lotharios peddling fake love at premium rates.

In a country which has lost its mojo, many wealthy Japanese women spend eye-watering sums on male hosts in return for an evening of sweet talk, flirting - and often sex.

"I want my heart to flutter", Nitta told AFP at a popular club in the Kabukicho red-light district lined with chrome and mirrors.

"Japanese men aren't very attentive and don't show their feelings, but hosts treat you like a princess. I want to be pampered and I don't care how much it costs", she adds.

The 27-year-old businesswoman from Nagoya, spends around US$10,000 (S$14,000) a month on the object of her desire - a faintly androgynous beau with bleached hair and a boyish grin.

But some big-spenders splurge over US$100,000 in a single night to have their egos stroked by smooth-talking rental Romeos who themselves can earn five times that amount in a good month.

There are a growing number of wealthy and successful Japanese women that have become frustrated with traditional dating and instead prefer to focus their romantic energies somewhere they are guaranteed to be treated well.

"I'm paying for time, rather than men", explained Nitta. "Time is more important to me so I want to live for now, without any regrets". Many women - ranging from 20-somethings to those in their sixties - lavish expensive gifts on their favourite hosts, buying them diamond watches, luxury cars, even apartments. "When I was 20 a customer bought me a Porsche", said former host Sho Takami, who owns a chain of clubs and likens a host's role to that of a psychiatrist, with benefits. "It's a 24-hour job", insisted the 43-year-old after arriving for work in a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce. "Our real work starts after hours - going for drinks with customers, crawling into bed at 9am, meeting another one for lunch", added Takami, who is set to open a host club in Las Vegas next year. A total of 57 snow monkeys were put to death through lethal injection in a zoo in northern Japan after they were found to be carrying genes of an “invasive alien species.”

DNA testing done by the Takagoyama Nature Zoo in Chiba showed that the primates were crossbred with the rhesus macaque, a banned monkey species in Japan.

The species in question, which is common in parts of India and China, is seen as a threat to Japan’s natural environment.

“They get mixed in with indigenous animals and threaten the natural environment and ecosystem,” Junkichi Mima, a spokesman for WWF Japan, told the BBC.

The culled monkeys were believed to have escaped from their enclosure and bred with the wild monkeys outside the facility. They “had to be killed to protect the indigenous environment,” zoo officials said.

Shortly after being euthanized, a memorial service was held for the snow monkeys’ “souls” at a nearby Buddhist temple.

As anticipated, wildlife conservationists voiced out their disdain for the supposedly unjustified killings.

“This seems a bit of a harsh response,” said one user on Facebook, while another one wrote, “Why? Send them out of Japan if need be, but killing them?”

Zoo operators, however, claimed that the move was “unavoidable.”

Japanese macaques, more popularly known as snow monkeys, are native to Japan and are one of the country’s major tourist attractions.

Their penchant for mating with other species has been a cause for concern in the country, which prohibits the transport of invasive species including crossbreeds. Khristian Ibarrola / ra/rga

outh African police have used stun grenades, rubber bullets and water cannon to try to disperse anti-immigration protesters in the capital, Pretoria, and keep them from foreign nationals who had gathered to express alarm about recent attacks.

A police official said 136 people had been arrested in the past 24 hours.

Resentment against foreign nationals has sometimes turned deadly amid accusations that they take jobs from locals in a country where unemployment is more than 25%. Others are blamed for drug-dealing and other crimes.

In 2015, anti-immigrant riots in and around the city of Durban left at least six people dead. About 60 people were killed in similar violence seven years earlier.

On Friday protesters in Pretoria marched towards the foreign ministry, some carrying sticks or pipes. A petition was handed to the ministry in which they suggested the government teach immigrants to “speak properly”. The petition added: “They are arrogant and they don’t know how to talk to people, especially Nigerians,.”

The Nelson Mandela Foundation criticised authorities for “giving permission for a march of hatred”.

“We don’t have hate! We don’t have hate!” one foreign national was recorded as shouting in a video posted by local broadcaster eNCA.

A statement issued by President Jacob Zuma’s office said South Africans should not blame all crime on foreign nationals. It cited recent reports of violence in Pretoria and hate speech on social media.

“Many citizens of other countries living in South Africa are law abiding and contribute to the economy of the country positively,” Zuma said. “It is wrong to brandish all non-nationals as drug dealers or human traffickers.”

Amnesty International accused the authorities of failing to “address toxic populist rhetoric that blames and scapegoats refugees and migrants”.

According to a report published by the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group, the Department of Homeland Security, under the Obama administration, attempted to hack the Indiana State electoral system nearly 15,000 times. The news comes in the wake of months of post-election talk the Russians helped Donald Trump get elected, thwarting any chance of Hillary Clinton to win in November of 2016.

http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/21/exclusive-obamas-feds-tried-to-hack-indianas-election-system-while-pence-was-governor/

Yet even with the bipartisan parade of politicians, including former president Barack H. Obama, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and others, the American people have not been presented one shred of evidence to suggest the Russians attempted to meddle with the elections. Free thinkers everywhere are scratching their heads, and asking themselves if they’re supposed to believe the so-called leaders in Washington, without being presented with any proof the Kremlin had anything to do with Clinton’s loss.

The bully in Washington may have used his executive powers to go after states such as Indiana, that “resisted then-President Barack Obama’s attempt to increase federal involvement in state and local election systems by designating them as ‘critical infrastructure’ for national security,” writes DCNF’s Richard Pollack. To better describe the hacking attempt, Pollack described it as a “scanning assault.”

Apparently, the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) aren’t too happy about the intrusive big-brother cyber attacks by the Feds, and are calling on Trump to overturn the measures put in place by his predecessor to increase federal involvement in their election systems. Once again, the states are pushing back against executive overreach by a president who is no longer in office, which may serve to demonstrate just how long-lasting Obama’s rule-based, executive order leadership actually is.

Enteroviruses (EVs) belong to the family Picornaviridae and are responsible for mild to severe diseases in mammals including humans and non-human primates (NHP). Simian EVs were first discovered in the 1950s in the Old World Monkeys and recently in wild chimpanzee, gorilla and mandrill in Cameroon. In the present study, we screened by PCR EVs in 600 fecal samples of wild apes and monkeys that were collected at four sites in Gabon. A total of 32 samples were positive for EVs (25 from mandrills, 7 from chimpanzees, none from gorillas). The phylogenetic analysis of VP1 and VP2 genes showed that EVs identified in chimpanzees were members of two human EV species, EV-A and EV-B, and those identified in mandrills were members of the human species EV-B and the simian species EV-J. The identification of two novel enterovirus types, EV-B112 in a chimpanzee and EV-B113 in a mandrill, suggests these NHPs could be potential sources of new EV types. The identification of EV-B107 and EV90 that were previously found in humans indicates cross-species transfers. Also the identification of chimpanzee-derived EV110 in a mandrill demonstrated a wide host range of this EV. Further research of EVs in NHPs would help understanding emergence of new types or variants, and evaluating the real risk of cross-species transmission for humans as well for NHPs populations.

The recent discovery of human EVs in fecal samples of wild NHPs in Cameroon [8] highlights the risk of transmission of EVs between NHPs and humans. Indeed, authors showed high rates of EV infection (95%) and suggested that was the consequence of the mandrills large population size, which could maintain viruses over long time periods through transmission between individuals [19]. The objective of the present study was to characterize the genetic diversity of EVs circulating in NHPs in Gabon and to identify the phylogenetic relationship of these EVs with human types. Our work showed co-circulation of human and simian EVs in NHPs in Gabon and allowed the characterization of two new EV-B types.

The evolutionary origin of the EV-B group with EV-J non-structural proteins remains unclear. It could be a result of a recent cross-species transmission and inter-species recombination. Another possibility could be the co-evolution of EVs with primates. Enterovirus B types that are commonPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

CRAZY! This Welfare Queen Goes Ape After A Local Grocery Store Puts Up A New Sign!

Sponsored by >>>/crazynews/

Obama’s administration has done nothing but contribute to the “welfare state”, growing it to 41% or more than $193 billion since he took office. We’re officially spending more on welfare on a country than we are on securing the nation.

Now, many grocery stores throughout the nation are taking a stand where Obama has refused to. Wawa recently made headlines after putting up signs warning welfare recipients that they no longer take EBT cards.

The signs are reportedly being hung throughout the chain in Philadelphia. This sign in particular has gone viral after being posted on Facebook by Jay McGuire.

People who are liking and sharing the post are clearly frustrated with the system.

Honestly, I agree. Everyone is clamoring for an office job and no one wants to take a vocation because they think it's beneath them. Skilled trademen make bank here because everyone would rather sit in an air conditioned office for a 1/4 of the money.

Over all, Mexico stopped and sent back almost twice as many Central Americans as the United States did. The question is, Could President Trump’s wall replace this buffer?

History suggests the most productive policy would aim to manage immigration from poorer countries to ensure it remains legal. Trying to stop it simply pushes it underground. An immigrant guest-worker program managed by Mexico and the United States, some experts suggest, could help migrants, protect American workers and fulfill the needs of American employers.

But even if such enlightened policy is still politically out of reach, the argument for cooperation between Mexico and the United States remains powerful. These days, illegal migration from Mexico is a relatively minor problem. Apprehensions of Mexican immigrants at the border are running at their lowest since the 1970s. Fewer Mexicans are coming north across the border than are returning home from the United States. Last year, more Central Americans than Mexicans were apprehended by the Border Patrol. Mexico is now mainly a passageway.

Past American governments have recognized the importance of Mexico’s help. Washington has given Mexico $24 million to support immigration enforcement — mostly in training and high-tech gadgetry — and obligated $75 million more.

Of course, Mexico doesn’t do this only out of love for its northern neighbor. As Mr. Mohar points out, even if their final destination is the United States, tens of thousands of Central Americans marching northward can put stress on Mexican communities, too. Notably, if Mexican officials were to just wave them through, they would place enormous strains on cities along Mexico’s northern border.

And yet the new American administration might recognize that preventing Central Americans from reaching the United States imposes a high political cost on the Mexican government. In 2014, when Mr. Peña Nieto announced the Southern Border Plan to tighten security around border points of entry and known migration corridors, he was harshly criticized for doing dirty work for the United States.

“It became a news story in Mexico: Why are we treating Central American migrants like the United States treats Mexicans?” said Andrew Selee, executive vice president of the Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

>Mr. Trump is changing this equation. If hostility is all he has to offer, the political cost for Mexico to be America’s wall may prove too steep.

>If hostility is all he has to offer

Who is being hostile. Last time i checked it was the Mexican president cursing and attacking Trump. It is also Mexicans and other south Americans in US cities shitting all over everything and attacking US citizens. Protecting your border is not an act of aggression it is protection from foreign aggressors who have on many occasions stated their wish to "take back" their "stolen" lands.

If Obamacare is not replaced within 2018, RINOs need to be purged come next Congressional election! Start making blacklists NOW!

Top Republicans are now publicly saying that Obamacare will never be fully repealed. In fact, many Republicans in Congress are already using the term “repair” instead of “repeal” to describe what is going to happen to Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.

Without a doubt, the Republicans in Congress are eventually going to do something, but strategists in both parties are now suggesting that most of the key elements of Obamacare are going to remain once everything is all said and done. It will be put into a more “conservative” package, but it will still be Obamacare.

On Thursday, former House Speaker John Boehner made headlines all over the country when he said that a complete repeal of Obamacare is “not what’s going to happen”. Instead, Boehner said that Republicans are going to “fix Obamacare” and that they will “put a more conservative box around it” in order to keep their constituents happy.

Of course this isn’t what we voted for. For years, Republican politicians all across the country have been promising that Obamacare would be repealed once they got control of Congress, but now Boehner is telling us that all of that was just “happy talk”…

Earlier in the panel discussion, Boehner said he “started laughing” when Republicans started talking about moving lightning fast on repeal and then coming up with an alternative.

“In the 25 years that I served in the United States Congress, Republicans never, ever, one time agreed on what a health care proposal should look like. Not once,” Boehner said. “And all this happy talk that went on in November and December and January about repeal, repeal, repeal—yeah, we’ll do replace, replace—I started laughing, because if you pass repeal without replace, first, anything that happens is your fault. You broke it.”

Trump spoke at CPAC and stated something very interesting.

He said the best thing to do was to repeal the mandate (which he already did), and just wait a year… let it collapse on its own. Then come in and create a whole new healthcare bill form scratch, making it much much better and cheaper for Americans.

If this is the case, some of the Republicans may just be taking Trump's advice and waiting till Obamacare collapses.

Note that Humana was recently the biggest insurance company that dropped out of the Obamacare exchanges. 25 or 26 others have left the last couple years as well.

With the mandate repealed it no longer affects me so I really do not care if it stays or goes. If it dies naturally that is fine. The problem is if it is still around when Trump leaves what happens to that mandate when the new president steps up.

Trump On EU: ‘I Think It’s Wonderful’

U.S. President Donald Trump praised the European Union as “wonderful” Thursday in an interview with Reuters.

“I’m totally in favor of it,” Trump said of the EU. “I think it’s wonderful. If they’re happy, I’m in favor of it.”

Trump further said he expects to maintain “very good relations” with the EU.

“I do, sure. I have very good relations with the EU,” he said. “But I thought that the U.K. would pull out of Brexit and I was right.”

Many European leaders have been concerned over what a Trump presidency would mean for the bloc. Guy Verhofstadt, the European Union’s Brexit negotiator, even named him one of three existential threats facing the EU. (RELATED: Top EU Official Compares Trump’s Emergence To The Threat Of ISIS)

Trump recently praised the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the EU, saying Brexit would “end up being a great thing.”

“I was in Turnberry [his Scottish golf course] and was doing a ribbon cutting because I bought Turnberry, which is doing unbelievably, and I’ll tell you, the fact that your pound sterling has gone down? Great. Because business is unbelievable in a lot of parts in the UK, as you know. I think Brexit is going to end up being a great thing,” Trump said in a January interview with The Sunday Times and German tabloid Bild.
