Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics maker, is considering setting up a display-making plant in the United States in an investment that would exceed $7 billion, company chairman and chief executive Terry Gou said on Sunday.

The plans come after U.S. President Donald Trump pledged to put "America First" in his inauguration speech on Friday, prompting Gou to warn about the rise of protectionism and a trend for politics to underpin economic development.

Foxconn's proposal to build a display plant, which would be planned with its Sharp Corp <6753.T> unit, depend on many factors, such as investment conditions, that would have to be negotiated at the U.S. state and federal levels, Gou told reporters on the sidelines of a company event.

Gou said that Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co <2317.TW>, had been considering such a move for years but the issue came up when Foxconn business partner Masayoshi Son, head of Japan's SoftBank Group Corp <9984.T>, talked to Gou before a December meeting Son had with Trump.

As a result of the meeting, Son pledged a $50 billion of investment in the United States and inadvertently disclosed information showing Foxconn's logo and an unspecified additional $7 billion investment. At the time, Foxconn issued a brief statement saying it was in preliminary discussions to expand its U.S. operations, without elaborating.

"Son is a good friend," Gou said, adding that Son had asked for his views about investing in the United States.

Gou said he told Son that the United States has no panel-making industry but it is the second-largest market for televisions. An investment for a display plant would exceed $7 billion and could create about 30,000 to 50,000 jobs, Gou told Son.

"I thought it was a private conversation, but then the next morning it was exposed," Gou said. "There is such a plan, but it is not a promise. It Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

In China, yes they are awful, they exploit slave labor.

They won't be able to do that in the US though. However, I'm sure they'll get plenty of tax cuts among other negotiations, like reducing some regulatory burden from the US govt.

Well of course he will fulfill this one. He's a business man, he knows what businesses need to be successful. Obama, Hillary, Bush, , fuck pretty much all of DC, has no clue because they were all born with a silver spoon in their mouths, or got their wealth via shady means.

They're not going to employ a single factory worker in the US, it's all going to be automated. Here's how it breaks down:

China:

+ Cheap labor

- Shipping and fees involved in getting the product to their customers

US:

+ No shipping and fees

- Machines are expensive

Foxconn and a lot of other companies that do manufacturing in China are looking very hard at moving back to the west for three reasons. First is increasing cost of wages in China since they're no longer dirt poor, second is cheap American electricity thanks to the collapse in oil and gas prices and fracking which makes running the machines cheap, third is China's uncertain political future because the only reason the Chinese people tolerate the abuses of the PRC is the economic growth they've promised and it's looking like they aren't going to be able to keep delivering for much longer.

A proposed House Resolution would set the stage for the United States to remove itself from the United Nations.

The proposed “American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2017” is sponsored by Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL). It was introduced in the House on Jan. 3 and referred to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, according to the Congress website.

The bill proposes that the United States terminate its membership in the UN, that the UN removes its headquarters from the US, and that the US stops participating in the World Health Organization. Read the full bill here:

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/193/text

Should it pass, the act would take effect two years after it is signed.

>How does being a member of the Globalist Nations even work?

If you do something good for other nations, they'll reap the benefit, but keep their distance and maybe even chastise you for "improper behavior".

If you do something bad for their interests, they'll screech about how you're a failure of a nation, and are violating rights, and how you'll always be a backwater.

Same as always.

The USA is exceptional because the people seem less concerned with "is this good or bad for us" than with "what's the right thing to do", but the government doesn't really honor that and will absolutely name a small, harmless democracy a dictatorship if it means they can topple it and put their own guy in for their interests. Pre-UN, and pre-Cold War, this sort of stuff never happened.

President Donald Trump is ordering federal agencies to 'undermine' Obamacare through 'regulatory action', a move that could 'weaken' enforcement of the requirement for Americans to buy health coverage and give insurers leeway to drop some benefits.

[Translation: English!]

Donald Trump signed an executive order to repeal mandatory Obamacare regulations!

Trump's first executive order, signed hours after taking office on Friday, directs the federal government to scale back regulations, taxes and penalties under President Barack Obama’s healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

[Translation: English!]

Americans will no longer be fined or taxed for opting out of Obamacare!

Republican lawmakers, who are working on new legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, praised the order as showing Trump’s commitment to gutting the program and lowering steep healthcare costs they blame on the law.

[Translation: English!]

The executive order is a temporary solution until Republicans pass a full repeal, and replace this broken system called Obamacare. Please be patient!

FOX News has a better report, already translated in basic english:

President Trump used his first executive order late Friday to immediately undercut his predecessor’s signature health care law, ordering federal agencies to ease the “regulatory burdens” of ObamaCare – a move that could be aimed at rolling back the law’s so-called individual mandate.

The requirement to buy insurance is one of the more unpopular components of the law. Trump’s order stated clearly that his policy is to seek the “prompt repeal” of the Affordable Care Act, but also said his directivPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Is it similar to the huge chunk of taxpayers money in the UK that goes to keeping the cancer that is the NHS propped up so doctors and pharmaceutical companies can make vast fortunes?

If yes, then where will the money come from to pay for those that genuinely can not work and need constant medical help i.e disabled, retards, handicapped, spastics etc?

THE PROBLEMS OF GLOBAL WARMING HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN SOLVED! HUMANITY IS SAVED!

'At 11:59 am eastern, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming.'

WASHINGTON, DC — A climate of change! Perhaps the most stark contrast between the Obama administration and the Trump administration is on “global warming”. The climate differences were visible today as the White House website was scrubbed of all references to “climate change” at exactly noon today just as President Donald Trump was sworn in.

Climate Depot statement: “Climate skeptics are thrilled that one of the very first visible changes of the transition of power between President Obama and President Trump is the booting of “climate change” from the White House website. Trump is truly going to make science great again and reject the notion that humans are the control knob of the climate and UN treaties and EPA regulations can somehow regulate temperature and storminess. Welcome to the era of sound science!”

Meteorologist and Weather Channel Founder John Coleman had one word to describe the White House climate website changes. ‘Hooray!,” Coleman, a global warming skeptic, tweeted.

I guess you know something I don't, since it seems the vast majority of scientists are saying the opposite. But I'm sure you have rock solid proof that will disprove everything that has been said on the subject, right?

Don't get me wrong, I think the world is pretty much doomed anyways. Pretty much the only thing we can do at this point is slow down the process. However, putting our head in the sand and refusing to acknowledge the problem isn't going to make it disappear. It's still going to happen.

There's no "assumption", it's already occurring. The climate really doesn't need to change much at all to have visible ramifications in nature. All that stuff I just talked about has been recorded and compared with historical records (and photographs). Plants are flowering earlier than they should, migrations happening earlier or otherwise being altered, species vanishing from their southernmost range and appearing above their northernmost… Just because it's not gonna reach the final stage in a month doesn't mean you can put off action until then.

Also, China is a big fucking offender in all this. They've been on environmental shit lists since they went industrial.

As I write this, I am on my way to Washington DC to join with other Oath Keeper military and police veterans to carry out our Operation DefendJ20, to protect American patriots from violent “anarchists” and communists (really the same thing) who have vowed to disrupt the inauguration of our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, and to assault attendees. We held a national leadership call last night and worked out the final operational details. We consider it an honor to have this opportunity to step up, once again, and do our part to keep people safe as they exercise their constitutionally protected rights of free speech and assembly.

We solemnly pledge to you that as we carry out this mission we will conduct ourselves honorably at all times, according to the warrior’s code:

Wherever I walk,

everyone is a little bit safer because I am there.

Wherever I am,

anyone in need has a friend.

Whenever I return home,

everyone is happy I am there.

Please pray for the safety of all involved, and for a peaceful and smooth Inauguration. And please say a prayer for our nation, that this will mark the turning of the tide, and the start of a true restoration of the Founder’s Republic. As SGM Santoro posted on the Colorado Oath Keepers page:

I want to point out that we have NOT won the war. We have only won a battle. This is going to be like a long distance race. The finish line is a long way away so pace yourselves. Always take care of family first and then take care of Oath Keepers next.

Exactly. The defeat of Hillary was incredibly important (we dodged a deadly bullet there) but it was only one victorious battle, not the winning of the war, and the domestic enemies of the Constitution are like a hydra with many heads that keep popping back up. Migrants rejected for asylum by Germany are flooding into the French capital Paris, leaving some migrant centres almost completely full.

Between 50 and 100 rejected asylum seekers are entering France per day, according to figures from Europe 1 Le JDD, causing a new headache for the country’s authorities and creating a defining issue for the forthcoming presidential election.

Berlin registered some 280,000 asylum claims in 2016, although over 700,000 are still being processed. Of these, 162,510 were filed by Syrians and 127,892 by Afghans.

The vast majority of Syrians receive asylum status if they can prove their identity. However, one out of every two asylum applications from Afghans get rejected. Those rejected migrants, instead of waiting to be deported, then try their luck in a different country.

A 400-place asylum centre opened by Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo in November is already close-to-full, and the city has announced the creation of another 200 places to cope with demand.

Authorities have been sounding the alarm for the past few days as makeshift camps begin forming in the streets again.

Breitbart London reported in November how Paris’s migrant slums were hotbeds of crime, as gangs fought one another on the city’s streets.

Many of migrants had originally travelled to the city after authorities dismantled the infamous “Jungle” camp in Calais, with large numbers gathering in the Stalingrad district.

Footage from April 2016 shows the Stalingrad camp explode in violence as massive riot erupted between over 1,000 people.

Despite being officially broken up, authorities are concerned that the camp and others like it will reform as the new wave of rejected asylum seekers travels across the border from Germany.

One local resident said in November: “The stench of urine, faeces, and rubbish has made Stalingrad an unhealthy place to live.Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Madonna, prepare to give a whole lot of free blowjobs soon!

According to a new report from DailyMail, Madonna WILL get what she deserves for her incredibly stupid comments about her many thoughts of “blowing up the White House.”

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4142950/Thousands-women-head-Washington-protest-Trump.html

The Secret Service has reportedly said they will open an investigation into pop singer Madonna after her intense speech at the Women’s March on Washington on Saturday afternoon.

Donning a black p***yhat, the music icon caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb four times, sparking a slew of apologies from broadcasters airing the protest live.

She went on to speak of her rage at the election result, telling the crowd she had thought a lot about ‘blowing up the White House’ but knew that it ‘wouldn’t change anything

The Secret Service has allegedly said they will open an investigation into pop singer Madonna after her intense speech at the Women’s March on Washington on Saturday afternoon

According to the Gateway Pundit, a spokesman for the Secret Service said they were ‘aware’ of Madonna’s comments and will open an investigation, but the ultimate decision whether or not to prosecute is the decision of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Anons, I want your opinion on this. This is a Russian conspiracy floating around the net.

Barely 24 hours after stunningly revealing that President’s Donald Trump and Barack Obama have been leading a secret Freemason coup against the Bush-Clinton Crime Families, the Security Council (SC) in a new report circulating in the Kremlin today states that over 50 top Obama regime Pentagon and State Department intelligence experts have now joined with Trumpian forces as America’s new leader prepares to confront and issue an ultimatum to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) tomorrow at their secretive Langley, Virginia, headquarters. [Note: Some words and/or phrases appearing in quotes in this report are English language approximations of Russian words/phrases having no exact counterpart.]

According to this report, with President Trump having been surrounded and protected by one of the largest private mercenary forces ever seen in the US, the CIA-led “Deep State” coup seeking his death, or destruction, to keep him from power has failed, thus preparing Trumpian forces, aligned with Obama regime deep cover intelligence operatives, to fulfill President John F. Kennedy’s vow to break this corrupt and demonic US spy agency “into a thousand pieces” and “scatter it to wind”—and that President Kennedy was publically executed for attempting, and when President Richard Nixon attempted this too, he was ousted in coup.

Security Council analysts writing in this report state that the Bush-Clinton Crime Families have been able to maintain their stranglehold over America for nearly 50 years due to the trillions-of-dollars they’ve earned thorough the CIA’s international drug cartel—but when these CIA-led Bush-Clinton forces attacked the United States on 11 September 2001 in order to be able to invade Afghanistan, who had completely eradicated their opium production, the Freemason forces led by Trump-Obama had no choice but to respond.

With the first American narcotics experts having gone into Afghanistan in early 2001, this report notes, they concluded that the Taliban movement's ban on opium-poppy cultivation had wiped out the world's largest crop in less than a year—but with the CIA’s 9Post too long. >Obama was pushing for gun control, amongst other things like muslim immigration. So the premise that Trump and Obama are on same team doesn't really work.

I hate Obama, but for the sake of conversation I will play devil's advocate.

What if Trump told Obama push for those things so it would give Trump an edge when he said he'd come down hard on all that? The appeal Trump had during the election was that he would do something about Obama's problems he started to really push in the last 2 years, plus all the other shit he did.

Gun control gave Trump a platform to talk about why Guns are needed, and gave Trump stronger ties to people who really like guns.

I agree with you though, I don't think they worked together, but if it turns out they did, that would be persuasion at a level not even (((you know who))) would be able to comprehend.

Donald Trump is preparing to sign executive actions on his first day in the White House on Friday to take the opening steps to crack down on immigration, build a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border and roll back outgoing President Barack Obama's policies.

Trump, a Republican elected on Nov. 8 to succeed Democrat Obama, arrived in Washington on a military plane with his family a day before he will be sworn in during a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.

Aides said Trump would not wait to wield one of the most powerful tools of his office, the presidential pen, to sign several executive actions that can be implemented without the input of Congress.

"He is committed to not just Day 1, but Day 2, Day 3 of enacting an agenda of real change, and I think that you're going to see that in the days and weeks to come," Trump spokesman Sean Spicer said on Thursday, telling reporters to expect activity on Friday, during the weekend and early next week.

Trump plans on Saturday to visit the headquarters of the CIA in Langley, Virginia. He has harshly criticized the agency and its outgoing chief, first questioning the CIA's conclusion that Russia was involved in cyber hacking during the U.S. election campaign, before later accepting the verdict. Trump also likened U.S. intelligence agencies to Nazi Germany.

Trump's advisers vetted more than 200 potential executive orders for him to consider signing on healthcare, climate policy, immigration, energy and numerous other issues, but it was not clear how many orders he would initially approve, according to a member of the Trump transition team who was not authorized to talk to the press.

Signing off on orders puts Trump, who has presided over a sprawling business empire but has never before held public office, in a familiar place similar to the CEO role that made him famous, and will give him some early victories before he has to turn to the lumbering process of getting Congress to pass bills.

The strategy has been used by other presidents, including Obama, in their first few weeks in office.Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Trump was able to ride the new wave of populism sweeping America that emerged from the Internet, the New Gutenberg Press.

This got him elected as President.

Now it’s time for We The People to apply political pressure at every level of government to make sure that he does what he promised and that populism continues to spread and intensify at every level of American society.

The Globalists view this new powerful populism that has emerged as a vicious enemy that will destroy them unless stopped.

This is an accurate appraisal and their chances of stopping it now are pretty slim. Efforts by the Globalists to do so will surely create massive backlash and blowback and only intensify the emerging populism and the speed of its emergence.

If Trump turns out to be a secret Zionist stooge as some fear, We The People can still continue our new wave of populism and eventually create enough political pressure to obtain the changes we need.

It may be more difficult and take longer but thanks to the Internet, the New Gutenberg Press, American Populism will not go away but will continue to grow rapidly by leaps and bounds.

It’s necessary for our nation’s survival as a Republic that we must all work together collectively to make certain that the City of London (COL) private “Illuminati” Banksters are booted from America and no longer allowed to parasitize it.

The current American system has worked out very well for the top .00001 and their close associates whom they keep well supplied with money, status and a lavish lifestyle.

But it has failed at least 80% of the rest, and the middle class has been blindsided by a self-serving Congress and presidents, and is shrinking rapidly into poverty that was never expected.

The .0001 had to hijack the American government at all levels and corrupt society to obtain the level ofPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

Yah, I agree. I do like what I see so far, like the Obamacare mandate repeal, as well as the TPP being killed, NAFTA on the chopping block, and the whole fraudulent carbon taxation scheme literally BTFO. So far, so good, if he keeps the rest of his promises then he will be a great president.

I'm hoping to hear an announcement on building that wall within the next few weeks.

A road-worn, devoted Department of Homeland Security (DHS) whistleblower and author is uniquely positioned to help President Donald Trump do the forensics on what is on the bottom of the swamp.

Since Phil Haney’s book, “See Something Say Nothing,” came out, he saw, felt and witnessed the rising up of Americans who coalesced at the ballot box to turn this country away from willful blindness, excessively loose immigration policies and failed counter-terrorism policies in the name of civil rights. Haney says, “people knew intuitively that something wasn’t right” in our government’s policies to keep Americans safe.

“I know where the valves are and people like me do,” the soft-spoken Haney — who traveled to 90 cities starting in Indianapolis, Ind. in April to Omaha, Neb. on Nov. 7, speaking to millions of worried Americans — says in this exclusive video interview for The Daily Caller News Foundation.

You will have to hold your nose, he says, because once you take the water out, then the real forensic work begins. We’re “going to have to put our hazmat suits on,” and wade into that toxic muck to dig all the pieces of evidence out of the bottom of the pond.

Haney says the forensics of draining the swamp will yield evidence of decisions and policies made in senior people in the DHS, FBI, CIA, the White House in the last eight years and more.

“It’s very important for the American public to not only look ahead at what kind of president you will become, but also what we were delivered from,” says Haney.

In his book, he recounts how critical law enforcement records were intentionally destroyed. Draining the swamp will allow Americans to know who and why law enforcement was crippled, and some Americans lost their lives because of decisions some in power made.

As for the disruptions that threatened the inauguration, Haney discusses those seeking to deliberately create chaos to destabilize America with “civilization jihad” to “sabotage the miserable house of America.” These anti-American forces are taking advantage of anarchy,Post too long. And there it is, the unvarnished, raw, truth about how everything went wrong for middle class America.

Since the Vietnam war, more than 45 years ago, the US has embarked on a neocon strategy of war in an effort to build a global empire. The result of that strategy has left American infrastructure second rate, its school system in shambles, and its healthcare system a complete and utter joke.

Just imagine what America could've done with $14t of investable dollars, instead of waging wars.

Aside from the wars, America spends more than 50% of its discretionary budget on the military, per annum, 16% of its overall budget.

In a very rare glimpse into what the Chinese really think about American imperialism and how it shaped the global economy, all the better for China might I add, Jack Ma spoke candidly today in an interview with CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=887_ybYGgRc

"It's not that other countries steal jobs from you guys," Ma said. "It's your strategy. Distribute the money and things in a proper way."

He said the U.S. has wasted over $14 trillion in fighting wars over the past 30 years rather than investing in infrastructure at home.

To be sure, Ma is not the only critic of the costly U.S. policies of waging war against terrorism and other enemies outside the homeland. Still, Ma said this was the reason America's economic growth had weakened, not China's theft of jobs.

Leaked Audit: Boeing Overcharged Army Up to 177,000 Percent on Helicopter Spare Parts

June 28, 2011 | By: Nick Schwellenba

$644.75 for a small gear smaller than a dime that sells for $12.51: more than a 5,100 percent increase in price. $1,678.61 for another tiny part, also smaller than a dime, that could have been bought within DoD for $7.71: a 21,000 percent increase. $71.01 for a straight, thin metal pin that DoD had on hand, unused by the tens of thousands, for 4 cents: an increase of over 177,000 percent.

Taxpayers were massively overcharged in dozens of transactions between the Army and Boeing for helicopter spare parts, according to a full, unredacted Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) audit that POGO is making public for the first time. The overcharges range from 33.3 percent to 177,475 percent for mundane parts, resulting in millions of dollars in overspending.

230 people have been arrested and six police officers injured in the D.C.protests against President Trump

Many any of those arrested will reportedly face up to a 10 year prison sentence and $25,000 fine

Most of the 230 rioters arrested after violent protests erupted in Washington D.C. following Donald Trump's inauguration will be charged with felony rioting, federal prosecutors said on Saturday.

The charge carries a punishment of up to ten years in jail and a $25,000 fine.

Thousand of protesters launched a violent rampage just blocks away from the White House as anti-Trump demonstrators smashed store windows, set fire to cars and threw bricks at police.

Many of those arrested are due to appear in court on Saturday, according to WUSA 9.

Heated clashes broke out in McPherson Square and along K Street as hundreds of riot police fired tear gas and drew their nightsticks to contain the masked mob.

As the rioting unfolded, Trump and his family were arriving at a review stand at the White House to see the end of the inaugural parade.

Militant anti-Trump protesters gave a foretaste of what could follow during the violent outbreaks, which has so far seen 217 people arrested and at least six police officers injured.
