On the road to the White House, Donald Trump defied all odds and rewrote the rules, stumping allies and political (and real) enemies alike in the process. But the truth is, he was just getting started.

The political Left, as well as the establishment of both major parties, still have yet to figure Trump out, but that’s because they keep trying to put him in the same box as all other politicians and presidents, without realizing to this day that he’s not one of them, so he can’t be put in the same box.

He’s not appointing careerist bureaucrats to top administration Cabinet posts like most other presidents have done; he’s appointing can-do business figures who have a reputation for getting things done instead.

And he’s also figured out that he doesn’t need the lying mainstream media to get his message out—and will frankly avoid the MSM at every opportunity. In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt recently, Trump’s White House press secretary pick Sean Spicer said that “business as usual” will come to an end with regard to how the incoming president will communicate with the American people and the press, Breitbart reported.

In fact, Spicer said the emphasis by Trump will be on ensuring that the American people get a better product (like straight talk) for less money.

“Do you expect him to keep up a regular and as energetic a series of press conferences as previous presidents? Do you expect him to be more or less engaged than previous presidents with that setting, that formal East Room setting sort of thing?” Hewitt asked Spicer.

“Yeah, that’s a good question, because I think the thing that you’ve seen with Donald Trump is that he doesn’t, he doesn’t look to the past and say I’ve got to conform to these precedents,” Spicer replied. “He figures out what’s the best way. And so maybe we do, you know, a series of press conferences, but maybe we do some town hall, you know, Facebook town halls. Maybe we go out and solicit input from Twitter. I don’t, I mean, the answer is we’re looking at a lot of things.”

In other words, Trump has no plans to allow the lying, discredited mainstream media as a filter to “reporting” on his policies, putting their own spin on things and distorting what Trump is really trying to say or accomplish. And that’s going to really tick off the ‘mainstream’ media, who honestly believe if news and information do not flow through them, it’s “fake” or otherwise not genuine.

Hewitt noted that if the Trump administration gets in the habit of sidestepping the establishment press and, Heaven forbid, goes straight to the American people, why, the media will just be “out of gas” and made irrelevant.

“That’s the point,” Spicer said, adding that “business as usual is over.” Spicer said his boss’ goal is to do what is best for the country, and if that means talking directly to the people—using social media and town hall events — then that’s what a President Trump will do.

>business as usual is over

If this is true, I'm glad because it's about time. "Business as usual" has not been working out very well for the people of the United States.

>He’s not appointing careerist bureaucrats to top administration Cabinet posts like most other presidents have done; he’s appointing can-do business figures

So much dicksucking to justify appointing wall street kikes in charge of the US economy. Sad!

You made a decent point, but factor this in: these kikes will be working under Trump, and they can be removed and replaced at any time Trump sees fit. If he has insiders who know their way around the system, best use them to your own advantage. They'll be under Trump's thumbs at all times, and I'm sure they know this. I say wait and see, be patient, we'll see what happens.

>Donald Trump defied all odds and rewrote the rules

>rewrote the rules

Lel, he didn't rewrite anything. It was just a repeat of Ronald Reagan's campaign, where he won by selling a bunch of feel-good nationalist propaganda to idiots who don't know any better, but the game has changed since then. The demographics are different and the younger generation is disillusioned with American institutions and America in general. Trump's Reagan-style campaign was only able to win because his opponent was so legendarily awful.

Obama hired a bunch of bankers, too, and they were the ones running his administration. Why would it be any different under Trump?

>Some 48 per cent of youngsters said that they experienced problems during their school years that prevented them from concentrating on their academic work.

>The latest report from the Youth Index, which gauges how students feel about a range of topics from home life to health, showed that mental health is at its lowest level since the Index was first commissioned.

>Almost a fifth said they "don’t believe they can change their circumstances if they want to" and 16 per cent said they "think their life will amount to nothing, no matter how hard they try".

>This report paints a deeply concerning picture of a generation who feel their ability to shape their own future is slipping away from them

my bad.

Please delete this, I was trying to start a new thread.

>Obama hired a bunch of bankers, too, and they were the ones running his administration. Why would it be any different under Trump?

Well because Trump ain't anything like Obama. Look at what Trump says, and what Trump does. Then compare him to Obama. He's almost the complete opposite. Obama is all about expanding bureaucracy, Trump is all about expanding economic prosperity. Obama wants to undermine US sovereignty, Trump wants to strengthen US sovereignty. Obama funded and armed ISIS/ISIL to undermine Assad's government (which failed), Trump wants to destroy ISIS/ISIL. Obama wants to wage war with Russia, Trump wants to restore US-Russian relations. Obama wants to ban our guns, Trump wants to protect our 2nd Amendment rights…. I could go on and on.

So, we'll have to wait and see. From what's happening right now, I'm still optimistic that things can change for the better. Not to say that we should be caught off guard though. Not at all. I still recommend we be prepared and vigilant and remain critical thinkers.

>Trump is all about expanding economic prosperity

For himself and for the banking elite, not for the American public. He has no incentive to help the poor or middle class, same as Obama. He's going to do what will benefit him. As much as Trump's supporters said he wasn't a politician, he is now, or at least will be on January 20. Politics isn't about what a politician is like personally. It's about incentives. Although what Trump is like personally doesn't endear him to me either.

here we go again

He can lie directly to us now

Good. The lying mainstream media is dead.

Dunno how much I trust Trump, but anyone with eyes and half a brain should know by now that the mainstream media is comprised of corrupt fucking liars, not journalists. So this would definitely be a step up.

samefag always posts Good! in headline

get a life

Governments lie, people can lie. It's a lot of power in one place and face value word shouldn't be trusted without something proveable to back it up, but right now I just fucking LOVE that MSM is getting a hole poked in its fatass balloon.

All news can be called fake by anyone. Why not?

We've entered hyperreality anons.

very good news

Cut Cable Bills Forever, Still Have Access to TV:

It's not about news sources being called fake, it's about them reporting rumors as news.

Finally, a leader without huge advisors, oh wait, Kissinger is hovering about.

Trump recently called CNN "fake news" LIVE on TV. It was on the front page of Drudge Report.

I'm basking in all the commie tears right now. It's almost too good to be true.

Alternative media literally takes over live TV news networks when!?

You're fake news! Trump pointing at CNN crew.

I'm looking forward to the next four years. Can't remember the last time I said that.

Honestly, nobody gives a shit. You are the only "prepper" on this site who doesn't stick to /k/ but instead comes here to spam fear and doubt about every little thing that happens. You constantly shill prepper sites that sell complete garbage, "natural news" spam, HAPPPENING nonsense, everything you post is some sort of exaggeration or flat out lie designed to give hits to a site that only exists to SELL YOU THINGS. You are:

a) completely and utterly insane

b) an unwitting advertiser

c) a mindless drone

You believe every little thing you read on your "alternative" news sites without a doubt. Here's a hint - if they're "alternative", they're not news. To you, no major event has ever occurred without some government or secret organisation having a shady hand involved, whatever the flavour of the week baddies you prefer to accuse (be it the Jesuits, the CIA, the NSA, the iloomunati, the twinks, the Freemasons) - without any evidence whatsoever. Everyone is constantly out to kill you all the time, and the end days are imminent, so you better stock up on AlexJones™ Pura-AIDS™ tablets, and make sure to buy WakingTimes™ 8ct Gold Coins, and "The InfoWars Guide to Survival After the 2014 Economic Meltdown (2016 edition)". Don't forget; they've got nanobots in your blood, tracking your every move, drones in the sky watching your every fap, and agents stealing kiddies in the night to rape and sacrifice to Nyarlathotep.

A global adversary which can and will take any and every opportunity to mind control and kill you. (An adversary that can be beaten with an $49.99 PrepZone™ multi-shovel.)

>he won by selling a bunch of feel-good nationalist propaganda to idiots

Couldn't help but out yourself. Trump one because of people like you.

*Trump won

/killcen/'s back! spam stops here! Bumping real news!

So now we get our lies directly from the president. That's quite an improvement.

Because school is fucking boring and useless brainwashing for 95% of the time.

Because people are told from birth that they are nothing and if they have a real thought or different opinion than those officially certified, they are outcasts.

Because 98% of all people are fucking retards that should be kept in drone colonies working in factories after having been hobbled and sterilised.

Anyone choosing to assosciate themselves with Alex SHOUTING DISINFORMATION EMPLOYEE Jones should be banned from all forms of communication for life.
